Edit Character

Back to the life of summer! It is coming and hopefully the weather will be nice this year. Lately, it has been really quite nice in the mornings, and then around noon it turns cloudy and rains. This is slightly frustrating as my tan will never actually be accomplished in the rain. Too bad. The truth of the matter is, having a tan really is not important. It is important to have good character, and to love people, and God. Good character? Doing what you say you'll do, being on time, being responsible, honest, thoughtful, respectful etc. Loving people? Caring about those who really don't care about you, even those people who can be brash, rude, and abrasive. Loving God? With the heart, soul, mind, and strength. That means taking care of one's body (being healthy), filling one's mind with good things, having a personal relationship with Christ 24/7 (not just on Sundays), and loving God with one's whole heart (protecting the heart, and not giving it away to just anyone). Truth be told, obtaining that kind of love for God is difficult, but not impossible. Loving others...is often more jaded.

Love others, love God, and work on having a good character.
