Rainbows and Movies

[Title is not talking of the Rainbow Movie Theatre]

Hey hey!
Finals are done and all my marks have come back. I have passed my first semester of university. My marks should be higher...but I tried hard so there is nothing to do about it now, unless I want to take a class over again. Next semester will be really really really busy! I will be taking 7 courses, not 4 like this past semester-I'm not sure that I'll stay in all the classes however. I also might look for a job, if I can set up my schedule right. It would be really neat to take a big roadtrip over the summer, and stay a few months in California with family. I also plan on going on WYAM (Youth with a Mission), although it really doesn't mean ONLY youth, because people of all ages join. Timing is everything. The right thing at the wrong time is still the wrong thing. Then there is the possibility of taking some spring/summer classes (which could lighten my workload during the fall and winter semesters). That is another question entirely! I'm not sure I ever shared my story from this first semester...but here goes:

I was fairly new on campus, and I had not yet found all the shortcuts to various classes. I was running late one day for my early morning class, and I noticed a guy ahead of me, who was also in my class. I decided hey, maybe he knows a quicker way to get to class. So I followed him (at a distance, as to prove my spy abilities), and found I was making good speed. The guy makes more turns, I (at a distance) make more turns. He starts to pick up speed, and alas I have to as well, for fear of getting lost, or being late to my class...The prof always seemed to start early. I notice that the guy I was following was really picking up speed, so I hurry up, and notice him make a sharp turn! I immediately follow, unaware of where he was going...Right to the guy's bathrooms! Needless to say, I went on my way deciding to NEVER follow a guy around campus! I ended up making it to class on time, maybe a little early, and the guy showed up late! Note to self: leave earlier in the mornings...Sigh*

I hope you enjoyed that story...and I hope you never find yourself in a similar situation.
Cheers,
Amy
