Falling Leaves and blank walls

This time of year, the air is crisp, the leaves falling, the feeling of anticipation awaits. Yes, fall. A beautiful moment, showing yet again the faithfulness of God. What a special thing it truly is. As for now, I'm in Arts Education in University. I am enjoying it for the most part, but wishing badly to be somewhere else. Although, it is where I'm meant to be for the time.

There are many things I could, or should be doing with my time at this exact moment. For some reason though, writing down my thoughts seems more worthwhile.

To be somewhat entertaining, I'm going to share a story:

Once upon a time, there was a wall. The wall was blank in every way, except for a light fixture, and a power outlet. As most walls in apartments are, this one had no texture. It was a blank as it could be. It held a world of possibilities, with it's large size, and appealing location. One could stare at it for hours upon hours because of all it told. For inspiration, day Vinci suggested staring at walls, perhaps he knows a thing or two about it. The wall could hold countless painting, shelves, a target for a game of darts perhaps. It could have world maps on it, with pins suggesting where one only dreamed of traveling to. But for now, the wall remains blank. Something about the wall is appealing, drawing the viewer into the world of the imagination. For some however, the wall will never be more than a practical divider between rooms.
~ The End ~

I hope you enjoyed it, the longer version is in my head, I think I shall forget it shortly though. Perhaps while I think about whether or not I should go and play Ultimate Glow Frizbeeee....who could resist?

Cheers,
Amy
